The Accounting Clerk makes calculations, validates and posts financial data, and keeps track of financial transactions in accounting records. Prepares reports and correspondence, as well as assisting with inventories.

Qualifications:

• An associate’s degree in accounting, finance, or a closely related subject is required.
• Assist with bill processing and coding for Accounts Payable.
• The amount of money you earn is governed by how long you’ve worked.
• Accounts payable checks should be ready for mailing.
• For the company, process and track credit card payments.
• The candidate should have exceptional interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to organize and manage a wide range of activities with precision and attention to deadlines with little direct supervision.
• The applicant must have a working personal vehicle, as well as a valid driver’s license, a clean driving record, and the proper insurance coverage required by the corporate policy.
• Set up, classify, check, and manage computerized files for Accounts Payable Invoices in this position.
• Other functions are given by the General Accounting Manager.
• Filing, copying, collating, and entering data are examples of clerical responsibilities required by the accounting department.
