The Risk Analyst is a member of the Investment Risk team and reports to the Head of Fixed Income Risk Management. The Investment Risk team is in charge of establishing risk policies and monitoring those policies across the company’s various investment holdings. This position is responsible for ensuring that the firm’s risk policy is followed and for assisting in the identification, measurement, monitoring, and mitigation of risks affecting the Fixed Income business’s portfolios.

Qualifications:

  • Compiling underwriting information and placing coverage, as well as loss forecasting and analysis, in order to promote the optimum protection of an organization’s assets and aid in loss reduction.
  • Prepare detailed reports in response to requests for reviewing individual customers; carry out extensive evaluations of potential digital asset clients.
  • First-time wire partners should be checked for risk, and new or existing clients should be checked out for negative news and relevant background information.
  • First-line defense actions, process re-engineering, and system development projects held by Corporate Risk Management or otherwise owned by the department are supported by this expert..
  • Client list is assessed and frequently updated to ensure it meets regulatory guidance standards and, if necessary, risk tolerance is altered as a result.
  • The analyst may be involved in projects that need the procurement of external data from the mortgage industry, as well as assisting other team members in their work.
  • Maintaining a thorough understanding of fixed-income investments, investing procedures, trading methods, market characteristics, and the regulatory environment.
  • Creating solutions that can be used throughout many portfolios, as well as distinct risk analysis and mitigation tactics.
  • Use any and all open source information, such as Factiva or Lexis Nexis, to gather background information for your review.
  • partnering with the Investment and Business Development teams to help create new products and investment solutions for customers.

Skills:
