Job Description
Assembler works in a production setting to assemble items using comprehensive defined processes according to specified daily routines. Assemble items under the supervision of an Assembly Supervisor, Team Leader, Senior Assembler, or Engineer to ensure that production criteria are satisfied.

Qualifications:
- Pre-drilled chassis and printed wiring boards are used to construct electronic components like radar synchronizers, computers, and roll servo units according to schematics and other specifications. These components are then adjusted according to the schematics and wiring diagrams.
- This work involves routing and connecting components, cables, and wires in accordance with industry standards.
- Identifies and selects separate electrical components of appropriate value or size as represented on schematic wiring diagrams, utilizing color codes, coded labels, or other pertinent identification criteria. As needed, identifies component terminal connections.
- Pneumatic tools are used to install brackets, gaskets, silicone, screws, and more. A Trainer or worker will show you how to do this.
- Establishes and runs a variety of equipment to create and assemble entire flying, developmental, and prototype microelectronic circuit assemblies under the guidance of an engineer.
- This position demands the ability to recognize and identify all circuit symbols, wiring codes, and electrical components in order to construct a product from the ground up utilizing only drawings and schematics as guides.
- To create and assemble microminiature circuit components, specialized resins, thermal compression die bonding, ultrasonic and parallel gap microwelding, and microsoldering procedures are used.
- Assembling and changing prototype electronic subsystems, subunits, assemblies, components, and wiring harnesses and cables is a necessary part of the job.
- Follows established procedures for operating various convention machines and/or CNC (computerized numerical control) manufacturing equipment to fabricate, form, or shape manufactured parts, tools, or parts assemblies from raw materials, such as cutting, punching, forming, drilling, tapping, turning, milling, and stamping.
- Using hand tools, power tools, jigs, fixtures, and other miscellaneous equipment, assembles units, manufactured parts/components, and/or electrical/electronic systems to create subassemblies, assemblies, or full units.
Skills:
- Prior to moving on with the job, candidates must complete a 3-day training course (if performance level not met during the training, contractor will be released)
- The project may be completed using a variety of resources, such as verbal and written instructions (in English), lists of materials, and flowcharts depicting the building process.
- A high school graduation or equivalent is necessary to satisfy the job’s criteria, such as relevant education and work experience.
