Full-Time Assistant Director of Front Office – Abu Arish

- Excellence in guest service: Greet guests with a smile and inform them about the resort and neighboring attractions. Guest experience – seeks methods to increase profits.
- At the moment of check-out, close guest accounts and ensure satisfaction. In the case of discontent, do research and try to remedy the situation within specified boundaries, which may include referring the issue to a supervisor.
- Boost the efficiency of other divisions, such as Housekeeping, Social, Breakfast, and Laundry, as a result of your efforts. Always clean the hotel’s restrooms, lobby, and other public locations.
- Giving all guests prompt, polite, and professional service, Maintain a high level of service and hospitality. Take care of guest problems and complaints as quickly and as well as you can.
- The moment a guest walks through the door, they should be greeted with a warm greeting that exudes sincerity. It is important to have a voice that is upbeat and easy to hear, to listen carefully in order to comprehend the demands that are being made, to reply with the proper action, and to offer factual information, such as the store hours and the nearby attractions.
- Maintain the privacy and security of private hotel information, communication reports, and files. Take care of all reservation inquiries, both incoming and outgoing. As authorized by the General Manager, care for lost and found goods.
- Complete your guests’ registration forms and verify for missing details. Update guest accounts with credit card and ID numbers and any updates.
- Responsible for keeping the hotel clean as a whole. This includes helping the manager clean any areas of the hotel that need it, such as the front desk, employee break room, guest laundry, fitness room, vending areas, stairwells, and common areas.
- People excellence indicates a dedication to customer service and teamwork together with a love for service. Product excellence – deliver a great customer experience by providing polite, cheerful service and a speedy, accurate check-in.
- Present the machine totals for each transaction to the Guest Services Manager, and reconcile the day’s transactions with the machine totals. Adaptation is needed.
- A high school diploma is required, or an equivalent qualification. A solid grasp of computers is a must, as is at least three years of hotel front desk experience.
- Opportunity to successfully interact with both internal and external clients, some of whom may demand high degrees of tolerance, tact and diplomacy to diffuse rage, obtain correct information and assist settle issues.
- Ability to use a relatively sophisticated computer system correctly. Hearing and seeing emergency signals.
- This role requires a thorough understanding of property management software. It is imperative that all shift reports be reviewed and audits are conducted as planned.
- Capable of standing and moving about the front office while performing necessary work duties Able to read, listen, and speak and write in English.
