Job Description
The Tax Associate will work closely with the rest of the firm’s team on all stages of project and engagement management for a variety of customers throughout the world. Prepare and evaluate tax returns; work directly with customers to give advice and guidance on tax planning, advising, and compliance; and aid in the management of clients and the expansion of the business.

Qualifications:
- Building a person’s legacy by assisting them in the areas of estate and gift tax preparation as well as charity giving and other volunteerism
- Improve your administrative, professional, and interpersonal abilities to the point where you can organize, analyze, and interact with others in a productive and effective way.
- Expatriate and foreign national assignee tax returns, equalization calculations, and other miscellaneous tax forms are prepared for expatriate, foreign national, and other mobile and remote assignee. Prepare payroll calculations and international assignment cost projections for assignee.
- In responsible of alerting management to any technique or practice that fails to fulfill regulatory standards, including fraud, whether suspected or proven.
- Have a desire for a better future for yourself by learning new skills in the areas of customer service and technical accountancy.
- There are a lot of accounts and activities that need to be looked at and reconciled. Income tax balances (i.e., income tax payable and deferred tax assets and liabilities), as well as Tax Receivable Agreement (TRA) general ledger accounts (such as foreign withholding and franchise or gross receipt taxes), need to be checked.
- Learning how to compile and record financial statements from bank accounts and other sources, as well as how to prepare personal balance sheets and net worth statements.
- Research and evaluate tax problems, write memos and client letters, and produce views and recommendations on a variety of tax concerns.
- Operates in strict conformity with internal policies and processes, as well as applicable rules and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering requirements.
- Assist in the preparation of tax returns, extensions of time to file, predicted tax payments, and other tax compliance operations, as well as the monitoring of tax compliance and filing requirements.
Skills:
- Telephone, computer, printer and copy machine all included in a single device. A working knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet programs as well as a database management system. The ability to work with computers is beneficial.
- This position requires the possession of a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting as well as CPA certification. It also requires 3-6 years of tax experience with a big CPA firm or the corporate tax department of a publicly traded corporation, as well as the ability to collaborate with others.
- An organized and adaptable professional with a proven track record of successfully managing several projects and processes while meeting both internal and external deadlines with strict attention to detail.
- Safety, operating, and maintenance instructions, as well as procedures for operating and maintaining equipment. Letters and reports must be written regularly Effectively convey information, both internally and externally, to both employees and the general public. Good interpersonal skills are essential. Mathematical operations on whole integers and common fractions and decimals in all units of measurement. Visual representation of data using bar graphs.
