The Multimedia Designer is responsible for determining and implementing the overall visual strategy for the Office of Research Communications, which includes the department’s digital, graphic, print, photographic, and motion graphic requirements. You’ll be leading huge, complicated projects with colleagues from across campus, as well as conceiving, planning, creating, editing, and delivering multimedia products. This person must be capable of consistently producing or delivering clean, polished, professional designs and layouts that align with the brand and identity of the university and promote the university’s research advancements, collaborations, and the resulting impact on individuals, our nation, and our world.

Qualifications:
- Create and learn new information transmission techniques that promote either greater accuracy, simpler template usage, or clearer communication while preserving a polished visual style.
- Utilize tools for 3D modeling, such as KeyShot, to add and animate goods in both 2D and 3D settings.
- Provide updates on the project’s progress and check that it is completed on time, within budget, and according to business standards.
- Collaborate with Marketing to develop marketing communications materials that adhere to KwikBoost brand standards, including sell sheets, flyers, advertisements and banner ads, packaging, product instruction sheets, presentations, email and social media campaigns, website product pages, landing pages, and trade show materials.
- Learn the relevant information for the project, participate actively, and ask questions as you go.
- Collaborate with the sales and production teams to prepare print files for daily orders of personalized graphics; maintain high production rates while maintaining accuracy and quality standards and meeting or surpassing deadlines.
- responsible for overseeing the creation of all marketing materials.
- Refine and produce final design solutions based on your own evaluation and external feedback.
- Logos, banners, social media posts, ads, brand systems, edited short and long movies, illustrations, and animated visuals/graphics should all be created.
- Make initial designs, idea drawings, models, and prototypes using a variety of techniques.
Skills:
- Must have current experience working within Adobe design products (Premiere / Affect Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, and Creative Cloud).
- Advanced graphic design skills and artistic sense are required, as are photography and filming abilities.
