The Law Clerk handles administrative activities for an attorney or a group of lawyers, such as creating and revising legal papers, legal task management, and regular contact with clients and regulatory bodies.

Qualifications:
- A law clerk’s independent judgment is used to do research and use the findings to generate a proposed opinion for the judge to use to explain the court’s decision and reasons to the litigants, based on that research.
- To be utilized in court proceedings, gathers, sorts, and indexes a wide range of information.
- Copies documents and provides assistance in the incorporation of corporate legal documents while writing letters and assisting in their compilation.
- Inquiries into reports and referrals made by federal, tribal and state investigators for probable cause; assesses the need for more information and evidence and develops thorough techniques to acquire essential information and evidence.
- Produce legal documents that are founded on an in-depth examination of the parties’ legal arguments and authority, as well as legal research to establish or deny the validity or accuracy of those arguments and authority.
- In addition to the activities listed, do additional jobs that need the same skills, knowledge, and physical abilities.
- work on projects as assigned by the principle, including meetings with customers and presentations to them
- Proactively identify business prospects related to the legal industry, as well as devise and see through the implementation of necessary website features/functionalities.
- discusses cases with the judge to ensure that all relevant aspects are considered and that the judge understands what the lawyer is attempting to communicate. An additional function of this person is the drafting of judgments, including opinions and orders, in civil and criminal matters, as well as sentencing guidelines.
- Summarizes and prioritizes material offered in pretrial briefs to ensure that all relevant information is included; highlights important problems and other notable features; and ensures that all essential information is included in these and other submissions. En banc panel (or argument court) case summaries are prepared for all of the judges participating, and include the most probable conclusion based on the available evidence, as well as summaries for each of the judges assigned to a particular case.
Skills:
- Ability to work cooperatively with coworkers, to recognize and accept lines of authority, and to maintain cordial relationships with members of the public
- Know-how in situations involving the Court of Common Pleas, including civil and criminal rules and regulations
- In order to enroll , you must have a Juris Doctor or Bachelor of Laws degree from a recognized legal school.
- An attorney’s ability to compose legal documents that address relevant themes, cite law and precedent, and communicate judicial views are all examples of legal writing abilities
- Interacting politely, efficiently, and responsibly is essential while dealing with the general public as well as other offices and departments.
