Job Description
An experienced Music Producer is needed to join our expanding team. The person in this post will be responsible for coming up with ideas for and actually making all of the station’s branded audio elements, messages, and images. The Music Producer’s responsibilities include contributing to the development of daily program, music logs, and timetables. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in leveraging sound to strengthen brand or customer relationships.

Qualifications:
- Pull audio for the show, sound bites, etc. from TV shows, events, concerts and interviews.
- Organizing the band to ensure that all performances go off without a hitch.
- This person must also have excellent presentation skills, be able to conceptualize and create according to specifications, and adhere to all rules and regulations at all times.
- Collaborate with the musicians, line producer, and executive producer to stick to the set budget.
- connecting with industry professionals including managers, publicists, and record companies through various means.
- Maintaining projects within their allotted budget requires the development and management of accurate cost estimates, detailed spending plans, comprehensive timetables, and comprehensive deliverables.
- As required, producing/creative oversight of acts.
- Organize and conduct all licensing and synchronization rights negotiations with music publishers, labels, and other parties as necessary.
- As part of the regular duties, you will be expected to take part in opportunity evaluations and create new music.
- In order to realize desired vision and success, the music producer position is a highly collaborative function that involves working with both small and large groups.
Skills:
- Possess the willingness and ability to assist with non-musical bookings, such as celebrities, newsmakers, and athletes, and to interact with and collaborate with other members of the show’s team.
- You need to have at least 8 years of experience in the music industry, preferably in booking or producing for a variety event (late night, all day, early morning, or similar).
- prior managerial experience, coaching skills, and ability to promote teamwork.
- Capacity for prioritization and multitasking under pressure of time constraints.
- ability to suggest truly novel approaches to music production for radio and the web.
