Job Description
Radiologists provide patients with high-quality pictures and examinations while being sensitive to their requirements. Follows safe radiation practice guidelines. Leads by example and serves as a role model for other associate technicians. Direct patient care includes precise testing, physical exam preparation, lab draws, patient assessment and triaging, and clinical supply inventory management. Completes and processes the required documentation to conduct business and keep track of patient care. Serves as a clinical resource for unit staff and ensures the unit’s current practice standards.

Qualifications:
- It’s vital to record every picture so the patient and doctor can see any relevant findings. Radiology pictures are sorted by how they were obtained.
- Patients’ physical and cognitive capacities must be taken into consideration while modifying assessment procedures for each individual.
- Provides the necessary services to execute medical treatments safely and quickly. Maintains understanding of cardiac principles and clinical procedures, immobilizes patients as required, and follows radiation safety protocols.
- Consult an appropriate doctor if the patient is in discomfort, and then continue PI.
- Accompanied by an assistant, patients are escorted from their exam rooms to the radiology department, where they are put on an x-ray table and trained on how to hold their breath and position their bodies for the best possible images to be obtained.
- Makes sure all exams are correctly labeled with the patient’s name, the date, the technologist’s name, and the time of the exam. covers patients while they are being moved and while procedures are being done, Makes sure that all deemed agencies, State, and Federal rules are followed.
- Basic and complicated percutaneous treatments, such as peripheral interventions, need knowledge and expertise. Responsible for patient safety, including the ability to diagnose cardiac arrhythmias and react according to emergency procedures, as well as operating an external cardiac pacemaker and defibrillator. In cardiac crises, it intervenes with appropriate treatment.
- In the production and distribution of contrast media and/or drugs, complies with federal and state standards. While watching, takes note of the patient’s odd conduct. Examines procedures and, if required, provides recommendations for improvements.
- Follows all aseptic protocols throughout medical and surgical procedures, uses efficient infection control measures, and can explain the universal precaution principle thoroughly, among other things.
- gives diagnostic assistance to doctors by doing organ or body scans on them and assisting them with therapeutic interventions, Splints are created and placed in place after assessing the patient’s anatomical and technological needs.
Skills:
- a bachelor’s degree from a medical college or osteopathy college that is recognized together with active residency in a radiology training program.
- Fluoroscopy permit and/or licensure as needed by the state Current BCLS, as well as state and federal laws and regulations, must be understood (AHA), Preferably, one year of acute clinical radiography experience is required. Graduation from a JRCERT or ABHES-accredited school
- Certification as a Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS) or registry eligibility; Registration as a Registered Radiologic Technologist RT(R) or Cardiovascular Technologist (CVT) or Registered Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist (RCIS)
- Expert in all areas of diagnostic imaging, A minimum of two years’ experience in radiology is required, with three years desirable. Knowledge of vital signs
- Permission was granted by the appropriate authorities. To practice, you must be a fellow of the American Board of Radiology. Always be a member of the Medical Protective Association (or equivalent).
