When working with a cash drawer and as a Retail Banker, the Banker is accountable for following all bank line and banker protocols. Complete all of the compliance modules that have been assigned to you. Active engagement in sales and attainment of management’s financial and branch goals. Maintain a cheerful, can-do attitude while being flexible to meet the demands of day-to-day company needs.

Qualifications:
- It is possible for customers to bring you any and all traditional banking transactions, whether they come to you in person, via a drive-up or a night depository window at your location, over the mail, or through the internet.
- Performing a variety of tasks as needed at the branch or department, including but not limited to bank deposits/cash recovery, opening/closing the office and vault, report preparation, and any other job obligations that help the department function efficiently.
- To be safe, make sure the check is authentic and verify the endorsement and proper identity.
- Instructing and connecting clients to resources that can help them better their financial status
- By asking the right questions and listening to the answers, you may gain a better understanding of the customer’s objectives.
- Maintain the bank’s assets by ensuring that customers are accurately identified, confidential information about them is kept secure, daily accounts are appropriately balanced, and relevant reports summarizing activities are prepared.
- As needed, buy and sell money from the vault to keep teller drawer cash limitations under control.
- Have a thorough understanding of branch operations to ensure that all rules and procedures are followed.
- Accompanied by an orderly workstation, a professional look, and a polished demeanor.
- Directly offer consumer banking products and services to consumers in order to help the Bank’s overall sales effort.
Skills:
- The banker will cover the equipment and applications for teller machines, calculators, keyboards, encoders, image capture/scanners, Oscar (ATM cards), SEI Trust System, Streamline, and Vertex.
- Recognize the departments and tasks that are directly related to retail (deposit operations, client care, records management, etc.)
- The most important parts of this job are customer service, accuracy, speed, precision, flexibility, and judgement, as well as a friendly, professional demeanor and the ability to multitask.
- 12 to 18 months of customer engagement and sales experience is required, with banking experience preferred.
- Understanding of numerous papers utilized in this role, such as Rules of Account, IRA forms and supporting documentation, signature cards, certificates of deposit, and objects provided for deposit.
