Qualifications:
- creates, updates, processes, or maintains files, records, or other documents.
- Copies and/or duplicates materials as needed; may make and send facsimiles to clinic personnel.
- Carries out a wide range of clerical duties consistent with the nature of the profession, including the use of a computer for tasks such as word processing, data entry, and the production of printed products including letters, labels, and reports.
- The position requires the ability to perform specialized services of a routine clerical type in accordance with specified procedural guidelines.
- Incoming calls must be answered, filtered, and transferred to the appropriate personnel without delay.
- Welcome guests and tell them where the restrooms are located as well as where to find coffee, water, and tea.
- Aids in maintaining business as usual by recording and discussing occurrences, deviations, and ongoing needs.

Skills:
- Ability to prepare and print routine correspondence, labels, and/or other basic written material.
- Prior work experience in an administrative, clerical, or similar role of at least three years’ duration is required.
- It is preferable that applicants have worked in a medical or dental clinic for at least 6 months.
- Ability to express oneself fluently both orally and in writing (even electronically)
- Ability to use healthcare and pharmaceutical computer programs is essential.
