Part-Time Bus Driver – Riyadh Al Khabra
Job Description
A School Bus Driver provides safe, polite, and on-time transportation for all kids between their homes and their schools. A school bus driver is responsible for picking up and dropping off pupils at predetermined locations while following all state and department of education regulations.

Qualifications:
- Always promote the goodwill of the firm by cooperating with coworkers, supervisors, and other passengers as necessary.
- Always portray oneself professionally by dressing appropriately for the job, grooming neatly, and maintaining proper personal hygiene.
- Maintain the assigned vehicle and its component components in accordance with the company’s specifications to guarantee safety, reduce wear, and prolong the vehicle’s useful life.
- Fill out all the necessary paperwork and reports before, during, and after each trip, following the required processes. Drive the vehicle in a safe and responsible manner, and stop when necessary to allow passengers to board and depart.
- Maintain the allocated bus in a clean and hygienic condition at all times by sweeping, wiping down all seats and the roof, and washing it.
- Operate an adapted transportation lift in a safe and responsible manner to board and release disabled individuals.
- Make sure to keep track of your car keys and fueling slip receipts, as well as the pre- and post-trip documents needed by your supervisor.
- Maintain, read, and understand route sheets, including time modifications, and notify the supervisor of any changes quickly. Make sure to keep up with routines by completing your regular duties and any extra outings on time and with as little absence as possible.
- Conduct complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle and special equipment checks, and provide relevant paperwork to administration.
- Take great effort to ensure that passengers can get to their destinations in a timely and safe manner by operating a designated route.
Skills:
- When loading or unloading students from certain school buses, the driver must first step on the emergency brake pedal or depress the air brake button before pulling the lever or pressing the air brake button to release the emergency brake pedal.
- At least three years of documented driving experience is required. In the preceding three years, there had been no more than two moving infractions and one avoidable accident.
- Passenger car and school bus drivers must have a Class B or higher commercial driver’s license.
- Lift, store, dismantle, and reassemble wheelchairs up to 40 pounds and any other ambulatory equipment required by the passenger.
- The ideal applicant will be adaptable, a team player, and eager to fill in as needed.
