The Senior Administrative Assistant will assist the Managing Director of the Company’s Starches, Sweeteners, and Texturizes business with complicated, executive level administrative assistance. This position is tasked with making a good first impression and representing the CEO well. Workload management, trip coordination, cost reporting, and email screening and organization are just a few of the other tasks that fall under this position. In addition, the person in this position is in charge of supervising, mentoring, and training the administrative team. Qualifications:
- Helps the Physical Plant Supervisor Specialist keep track of staff coverage for the department and change how work orders are assigned based on how much coverage is available in the department on a given day.

Insure that the department’s supplies are maintained and that there is sufficient supply. Manage department, program, and faculty e-mail. Workplace files should be kept in order. Make and handle service and repair requests for the office. Work-study and student assistants must be supervised to guarantee the fulfillment of their assigned tasks and the coverage of the office.
- Watches how quickly and how well work orders sent to the Engineering Staff are finished, and follows up with people who want to know the status of work orders they sent. Sends information about work order delays, problems with completion, or concerns about productivity to the Physical Plant Supervisor Specialist for further evaluation.
- Includes, but is not limited to, daily casework, monthly reports, office supplies, postage metering, merchant card reconciliation, invoicing and accounts receivable, and database management.
