Qualifications:
- All department personnel should get a thorough introduction, skill and safety training, essential resources and information, frequent assessments, and proactive coaching as part of their continuous development.
- Become a department or bank boss. Join this team to lead or participate in Federal Reserve System initiatives.
- The aims of the department or division are supported. Everything from product and service design to business strategy is influenced by this person. A project manager’s role is to make sure that everyone is working toward the same objectives and goals.
- Work with customers, data input, and/or dispatch and warehouse workers. Ensure all workers deliver exceptional internal and external client service.
- Employees and others must be informed of concerns that may endanger collaboration, resources, or other duties. Keep in contact with the local Field Engineer.
- Oversee the timely and correct completion of all documentation involved with incoming and outgoing cargo movement. Maintain cost constraints while ensuring timely pick-ups, recoveries, deliveries, and airline and agency choices. Contribute to the formulation and approval of rate quotations or shipping pricing for internal and external clients.
- Keep good accounting, reporting, and recordkeeping for the administrative activities of the department in compliance with the company’s internal standards and state and federal laws.
- Work and self-directed team management (s). Staff members are chosen, led, and coached. Establishes the team’s general direction. Identifies and executes training initiatives for team members. Makes decisions on remuneration, employment, and firing.
- Verify compliance with the US Treasury Currency Operations Manual and the Federal Reserve System Custody Control Principles and Standards.
- Employ judgment while using your total expertise to ensure that the area is operating effectively, professionally, and in compliance with business rules and procedures.
Skills:
- a minimum of two years’ experience in the field (preferably in a cash handling environment). Preference will be given to applicants with banking-related work experience. Supervisory experience in an operations team or a comparable functional area is required for level II. Level III requires at least five years of experience.) Working with people to complete tasks and demonstrating excellent leadership are examples of relevant experience.
- There are other options, such as a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, or a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Therapy or Health Sciences, which may be replaced for one year of experience.
- Advanced expertise with Microsoft Office, the internet, web-based applications, and job-specific software. Ability to do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using US and/or foreign cash, weight, and distance units.
- High school diploma or GED required; bachelor’s degree in logistics or supply chain management, transportation, finance, or a related subject desirable, or an equivalent combination of work experience and education. Four years of similar experience is required. Two years of supervisory or leadership experience is required. Experience in the sector for at least two years is desired.
- Demonstrated leadership ability The capacity of a person to delegate work and/or responsibilities to others in order to maximize the productivity of the organization and the individual. Customer-oriented. Customers and their needs must always take first; the capacity to establish and maintain solid ties is crucial to success.
