Job Description
It is the job of the Chief Executive Officer to run the company and make sure it is profitable, competitive, and financially sound. The goal is to give members and owners value-added financial services on a profitable and competitive basis. The CEO will set up supervisory controls, report to the board, and give executive leadership and direction to the operating units in a way that is safe and legal.

Qualifications:
- Manage the firm’s financial performance while guaranteeing a complete business plan that maximizes shareholder value.
- To make sure that employees are working and that the organization’s goals are being met while also making sure that everyone feels welcome at work.
- With full direct lender authority and accountability, take charge of the association’s controls and financial and operating results on your own (i.e., capital requirements, asset quality requirements, management and staff effectiveness, earnings requirements and liquidity requirements).
- To assist in the promotion of effective and efficient work processes and creative programs, provide recommendations and create solutions.
- Having worked with operating budgets in the past. Understanding how to use financial statements as a management tool.
- Ascertain the organization’s financial viability and maintain its track record of rigorous, lean financial management. Assess the structure, operations, policies, personnel, business model, and financing needs of the organization after strategic planning and make necessary improvements. Enhance and expand the organization’s use of technology in all facets of its operations. To maintain the integrity of the organization’s activities on behalf of its public trust, ensure excellent stewardship and stick to extremely high standards.
- Assist in the creation and execution of the local operational policies and procedures and management systems, controls and standards required to successfully carry out the association’s goals.
- Ensure that the organization’s culture attracts, maintains, and inspires a diverse and highly competent workforce by serving as an inspirational, approachable, and supportive staff leader. Ensure that communication and decision-making are characterized by rigor, high quality, clarity, and transparency. Encourage positive and collaborative communication across departments. Promote the use of technology in the workplace.
- Encouraging communication, ensuring that the principles and goals of the organization are adequately conveyed to all stakeholders (all levels of employees, customers, the board, Farm Credit Administration, funding bank and communities, etc.).
- It is essential that those in responsibility of reporting to the board of directors on all financial, operational, personnel, marketing, and other problems and activities do so in a timely and correct manner.
Skills:
- Management qualities that are above average include strategic corporate growth, talent attraction and development, negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in marketing, public relations, and fundraising, as well as the ability to interact effectively with a varied range of stakeholders from a variety of cultural backgrounds, are prerequisites for this position.
- An in-depth understanding of managed care ideas, including delivery system structure, financial considerations, program formulation, utilization management, network management, quality improvement, as well as consumer/community roles and responsibilities.
- Management and leadership skills, such as staffing, orientation, coaching, performance evaluations, training, and development, as well as the ability to get things done through other people.
- Experience handling many activities at the same time, ranging from strategic to administrative in nature, with demonstrated ability to synthesize, prioritize, and act on information.
