Part-Time Client Desk Banker – Ragal Almaa
A banker works at the bank’s front desk, assisting customers with deposits, withdrawals, and other banking operations. Bankers are responsible for delivering excellent customer service and assisting or sending customers to the right team member as needed. At every opportunity, all customer-facing staff should strive to improve customer relationships.

- The customer’s objectives may be learned by asking the right questions and listening to their responses.
- Job duties include but are not limited to: depositing/retrieving cash, opening the office or vault (and any other work activities that are necessary to keep things running properly), and preparing reports.
- Direct sales of consumer banking products and related services are undertaken to support the Bank’s overall sales efforts.
- Check the endorsement, get correct identification, and make sure the check is legitimate.
- Giving advise on how to improve a client’s financial situation or putting them in touch with the proper people
- Maintain the bank’s assets by ensuring that customers are accurately identified, confidential information about them is kept secure, daily accounts are appropriately balanced, and relevant reports summarizing activities are prepared.
- Customers may bring you any and all conventional banking transactions, whether they come to you in person, via a drive-up or a night depository, over the mail, or through the internet.
- As needed, buy and sell money from the vault to keep teller drawer cash limits under control.
- To ensure that all regulations and procedures are followed, have a wide grasp of branch operations.
- In order to meet with clients on a frequent basis, you must maintain a professional appearance and a well-organized workstation.
- Know everything there is to know about the retail departments and what they do (deposit operations, client care, records management, etc.)
- Ability to utilize computers and technology to carry out the obligations outlined.
- Will learn how to use the teller machine, calculator, keyboard, encoder, image capture/scanner, Oscar (ATM cards), SEI Trust System, Streamline, and Vertex equipment and applications.
- 12 to 18 months of customer engagement and sales experience are required, with banking experience preferred.
- Customer relations, accuracy, speed, detail, flexibility and judgement, as well as a pleasant, professional demeanor and the ability to execute many tasks, are the most important qualities of this job.
