Job Description
In the home building process, the Drywall Finisher completes the manufacturing production tasks assigned to their team. To guarantee that production is as efficient and safe as possible, this role follows conventional production processes and maintains safe work habits.

Qualifications:
- Planning: Assist your Team Leader and Area Coordinator in planning and managing your area’s production operations by anticipating material shortages, recognizing tool maintenance needs, and conveying any quality or productivity issues.
- Notifying your supervisor of any job-related issues and ensuring that all equipment and supplies are utilized properly.
- Respect the attendance requirements of the division and arrive on time for your shift.
- Use trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper to apply texturizing compounds or primers to walls or ceilings before final finishing. To secure wallboard and metal structural components, use metal molding at wall corners.
- These finishes include painting (roller, brush and spray treatments), vinyl wallpaper repair (staining), and the application of other finishes. To enhance and maintain interior surfaces. Prepares and polishes surfaces using hand and power tools, restores damaged wood and metal doors, and conducts Finisher-related duties using these tools.
- Productivity: Work as a member of a team to produce things that satisfy our quality standards while also reaching our productivity objectives.
- Apply sealing compound using trowels, broad knives, or spatulas over cracks, holes, nail heads, and screw heads, as well as between boards or panels.
- Stewardship includes protecting our company’s physical assets from damage and misuse, reporting any needed repairs, and keeping your designated space clean and organized.
- Communicates and collaborates with the supervisor, the client, and other trades and subcontractors to provide high-quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance.
- A safe and healthy workplace for everybody requires careful adherence to established safety standards and rules. Always have personal protective equipment (PPE) on hand.
Skills:
- Its best if you’ve already worked in the construction or manufacturing industries.
- High school courses in carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and basic algebra are all strongly recommended.
- Possess the capacity to do physically demanding tasks.
