Job Description
We’re seeking for a detail-oriented Drywall Finisher to join our team. In order to prepare surfaces for final treatment, you’ll be responsible for sealing seams, fixing cracks, and smoothing defects on walls and ceilings. You should also make sure that everything is handled with care. You must be able to complete tasks fast while maintaining a high degree of quality to thrive in this role. You should have a lot of stamina, physical strength, and time management skills. The ideal candidate will be able to understand customers’ goals, follow directions, and complete projects on time and on budget.

Qualifications:
- Respect the attendance requirements of the division and arrive on time for your shift.
- Maintaining contact with your supervisor and reporting any job-related issues, as well as making sure that all equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
- Maintaining our company’s physical assets in excellent condition, protecting them from damage and overuse, reporting any required repairs, and keeping your assigned workspace clean and organized are all indicators of good stewardship.
- This person interacts and collaborates with the supervisor, the customer, and other trades and subcontractors to ensure quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance.
- To enhance and maintain interior surfaces, paints (roller, brush, and spray applications), fixes vinyl wallpaper, stains, and applies other finishes. Prepares and polishes walls and other surfaces with hand and power tools, repairs damaged wood and metal doors, and conducts Finisher-related activities.
- Spreading sealing compound between boards or panels, or over cracks, holes, nail heads, or screw heads, requires trowels, broad knives, and spatulas.
- When you work in a group, you may produce items that meet our quality requirements while also meeting our productivity goals.
- Use trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper to apply texturizing compounds or primers to walls or ceilings before final finishing. To secure wallboard and metal structural components, use metal molding at wall corners.
- We can maintain our surroundings safe and clean by adhering to established safety norms and legislation. At all times, personal protective equipment (PPE) should be worn (PPE).
- It might help to inform your Team Leader or Region Coordinator of expected material shortages, tool maintenance needs, and quality or productivity issues.
Skills:
- Possess the capacity to do physically demanding tasks
- Experience in building and/or manufacturing is preferred.
- Continuous education and growth of one’s abilities are required for the application to be successful, as is a strong sense of self-confidence and leadership on the part of the candidate.
- It is necessary to have communication abilities.
