With the goal of optimizing profitability, the Escrow Assistant assists the Escrow Officer in delivering high-quality services to customers, consumers and employees in accordance with Company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:
- The escrow folders are appropriately filled out and their contents are properly filed by following the approved escrow procedures.
- Accurately closes residential escrows that may include all-inclusive deeds of trust and wrap contracts. May be asked to put together more complicated and risky closing escrows, such as commercial escrows.
- Examine the Seller/Buyer package to check whether any escrow instructions or paperwork has been preprinted and included.
- Having a survey, getting hazard insurance, filling up basic order information in an automated system, getting HOA information, and setting closing dates, you’re ready to move in.
- May offer transaction information to authorized parties and/or decide who can deliver and route requests most effectively.
- Input numbers, balance with lender, handle distribution of funds, money transfers, prepare paperwork, close transactions, advise consumers, and handle cash.
- The organization’s key principles include service, honesty, trust and respect, responsibility, and profitability.
- The final settlement statements should be sent out to all parties involved in the transaction, including purchasers and sellers, their agents, lenders, and borrowers, prior to the closure.
- One of the most important components of any business development plan is identifying and enticing new clients to join the ranks.
- It is essential for management to work together to resolve issues such as legal descriptions and easements, as well as tax liens and abstracts of judgment as well as boundary disputes and encroachment claims.
