Job Description
To join the Talent team, we are looking for a music producer. This active position will manage the music division and the booking of musical acts. Candidates must have 8+ years of relevant experience; working for a record label or booking/producing at a variety performance (late at night, during the day, in the morning, or similarly) is a plus. Strong connections in the music business are necessary.

Qualifications:
- With music publishers, labels, and other parties as necessary, arrange and negotiate all license and synch rights.
- As a regular part of the job, you’ll be asked to take part in things like designing and developing new audio systems and evaluating new opportunities.
- On budget, collaborate with the line producer, supervising producer, and music acts.
- This individual must also be able to make suggestions and designs, adhere consistently to set norms, and communicate effectively.
- by attending events, meeting with publicists and managers, recording labels, etc.
- When necessary, performers will have creative and production oversight.
- Oversight of the music crew to assist in the actual performance of all musical events.
- To ensure that the project stays within its allotted budget, you must create and manage accurate cost estimates, a detailed spending plan, and a detailed timeline.
- Gather sound bites and whole episodes of shows, concerts, and interviews to utilize in your presentation.
- The role of music producer is highly collaborative, involving close cooperation with both large and small groups in order to realize the intended goals.
Skills:
- 8+ years of relevant experience in the music business; experience working for a record company or booking/producing at a variety event (late at night, during the day, or in the morning) is a bonus.
- Willingness and ability to contribute to non-music related bookings, such as but not limited to celebrities, public figures, and athletes, and to interact with and collaborate with other teams on the program.
- ability to juggle multiple tasks and determine which are most important to do in a given amount of time.
- A number of highly effective new ideas for creative music production techniques in broadcast and digital media have been proposed.
- Previous management experience and the ability to coach and create teamwork are required.
