The Digital Director is a senior management post within the Independent Expenditure program, reporting to the Deputy IE Director. The Digital Director is accountable for leading a team of digital professionals and consultants in order to establish priorities and guarantee consistency across all of our digital persuasion initiatives. This role will assist in the oversight of millions of dollars in digital expenditure throughout the battlefield and needs extensive expertise managing efficient paid digital initiatives. Qualifications:
- Enhance or create new administrative tools for internal and external usage.
- Our digital marketing approach must be in sync with the rest of our overall brand plan. There are several ways to do this, but some of the most common include Google Ads and Facebook Ads, as well as advertising on your own website. We need to employ all of our digital channels in order to achieve the appropriate level of client engagement.
- Maintaining and analyzing online traffic, as well as dealing with internal teams and suppliers, are required skills for this position.
- Defining and presenting the project to the team, having regular status meetings, and supervising the project from conception through launch and beyond are all aspects of project management.
- Analyze your website traffic, the amount of individuals who click on your advertising, and other sources of data to determine the effectiveness of a campaign.
- Create short-form television and internet videos that will help us market our brand and increase website visitors.
- Deliver commercial value to end customers on a daily basis by streamlining the creation and delivery of new products using modern DevSecOps methods.
- Ensure that you have a thorough awareness of industry problems and trends, particularly those affecting accessibility, usability, and new technology.
- Include paid and organic media in the digital program’s efforts while planning and organizing.
- Assist media agency partners by serving as the primary point of contact and relationship manager. Create media briefings to provide clear direction, evaluation, and ongoing optimization of planned agency strategies.
Skills:
- The capacity to swiftly comprehend and express technical topics and issues to a broad range of people in a palatable and entertaining way is essential.
- Maintaining composure under pressure while juggling a wide range of responsibilities in a fast-paced work environment is essential.
- The candidate must have previous work experience in digital marketing for political campaigns, issue advocacy groups, or other relevant marketing professions; 5-7 years of experience is recommended.
- Extensive understanding of digital media testing, including but not limited to randomized control trials, A/B tests, and platform brand lift studies is desired.
- Proficiency in the use of contemporary web development technologies and methods, such as HTML5, JavaScript, CSS3, jQuery, APIs, Responsive Design, ASP.NET Web Forms and web services, and code versioning tools.
