Job Description
We’re looking for a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. We are a well-established paint and drywall firm in the greater County region, working on both residential and commercial projects. Successful candidates will have at least two years of drywall experience. This isn’t simply a summer job; we keep our personnel levels year-round!

Qualifications:
- Adherence to established safety standards and laws is essential to preserving a healthy and clean working environment. Always have PPE (personal protective equipment) on hand (PPE).
- Use trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper to apply texturizing compounds or primers to walls or ceilings before final finishing. To secure wallboard and metal structural components, use metal molding at wall corners.
- Maintaining open lines of communication with your supervisor and reporting any job-related issues, as well as ensuring that all equipment and supplies are used safely and efficiently.
- Help your Team Leader and Region Coordinator plan and organize the production operations in your area by discussing expected shortages of materials, identifying essential tool maintenance, and addressing any quality or productivity issues.
- Productivity: Work as a member of a team to produce things that satisfy our quality standards while also reaching our productivity objectives.
- Using trowels, wide knives, or spatulas, apply sealing compound to cracks, holes, nail heads, and screw heads.
- Paints, fixes vinyl wallpaper, stains, and applies different finishes to interior surfaces in order to beautify and protect them (roller, brush, and spray applications). Prepares and polishes walls and other surfaces with hand and power tools, restores damaged wood and metal doors, and conducts Finisher-related activities.
- Serving as a good steward of our company’s physical assets by preserving them from damage and overuse, reporting all needed repairs, and keeping your designated space clean and organized are all examples of stewardship.
- Cooperates and communicates with others in the company such as the project manager, the customer, and the various trades and subcontractors in order to offer timely, cost-effective, and high-quality maintenance services.
- Be on time for the start of the shift and stick to the division’s rules and regulations on attendance.
Skills:
- Interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities are all essential.
- Have the ability to perform physically strenuous tasks.
- The ideal applicant will have a strong sense of leadership and a strong willingness to learn and improve.
- In high school, carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and basic math courses are also beneficial.
- The ability to interpret architectural and technical drawings is crucial.
