Qualifications:
- In order to maintain a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, strict adherence to established safety standards and regulations is required. You should always carry personal protective equipment (PPE) on you.
- To improve and preserve interior surfaces, does detailed finishing work such as painting (roller, brush, and spray applications), vinyl wallpaper restoration, staining, and application of other finishes. With hand and power tools, prepares and polishes walls and surface areas, fixes damaged wood and metal doors, and performs Finisher-related tasks.
- Protecting our company’s physical assets from damage and misuse, reporting any needed repairs, and keeping your designated area clean and organized are all examples of stewardship.
- Maintains service continuity and coordination by communicating and collaborating with the supervisor, the customer, and other trades and subcontractors to deliver high-quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance.
- Attendance: You are responsible for meeting all attendance standards, reporting to work on time for the start of your shift, and adhering to all divisional attendance policies and procedures.
- By communicating anticipated shortages of materials, tool maintenance requirements, and quality or productivity difficulties with your Team Leader and Region Coordinator, you may help them plan and organize the production activities in your area.
- Keeping in touch with your supervisor and reporting any job-related concerns, as well as ensuring that all equipment and supplies are used safely and effectively.
- Collaborate with others to create things that fulfil both our quality and productivity standards.
- Spreading sealing compound between boards or panels, or over cracks, holes, nail heads, or screw heads, requires trowels, broad knives, and spatulas.
- Apply texturizing chemicals or primers to walls or ceilings using trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper before final finishing. Add metal molding to the corners of the space to hold wallboard and metal structural components.
Skills:
- Lifting up to 40 pounds, gripping, working above head, pulling at chest level, bending, standing, and walking
- The candidate should have a strong desire to learn and enhance his talents on a continuous basis, as well as a strong sense of responsibility and leadership.
- Understanding architectural and technical drawings is essential.
- In high school, carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and basic math courses are also beneficial.
- Excellent interpersonal, organizational, and communication abilities are required.
