Job Description
A music producer is needed to expand our team. This creative role will conceive and produce all station imaging, messaging, and branded audio elements. The daily program, music logs, and schedules will be created in collaboration with the music producer. The candidate must have a proven track record of enhancing brands or consumer engagements through sound.

Qualifications:
- That person also needs to be a stickler for norms, have creative ideas, and be an effective communicator.
- Plan out and oversee the execution of the project’s timeline, budget, and cost estimates while keeping an eye on spending and development to ensure adherence to the budgeted spending level.
- Work with record labels, publishers, and anybody else involved to secure the necessary licenses and sync rights.
- Management of the music staff to assist in the execution of all musical performances.
- Get sound snippets, full interviews, performances, etc. to use in the program.
- As needed, producing/creative oversight of acts.
- The role of music producer is a highly collaborative one, requiring them to work with both small and large groups to achieve their goals.
- Relationships with managers, publicists, and labels can be developed through in-person meetings, event attendance, and other similar activities.
- Be a part of regular opportunity assessments and the creation of cutting-edge soundscapes as part of your job responsibilities.
- Work together on a budget with the music acts, the supervising producer, and the line producer.
Skills:
- the ability to handle competing demands and make important decisions under pressure.
- Knowledge of management principles and skills in encouraging and inspiring teamwork.
- Experience booking/producing at a variety event (late night, all day, early morning, or similar) or familiarity with record companies are two desirable areas of expertise.
- Proven ability to think creatively and bring new ideas to the table for the production of radio- and digital-ready musical content.
- Willingness and ability to assist with non-musical bookings such as celebrities, newsmakers, and athletes, and to interact with and collaborate with other members of the show’s team.
