In compliance with federal and international legislation controlling the shipping, reception, and documentation of imported/exported goods, the E-Commerce Manager monitors and manages customs clearing operations in the customs house brokerage or gateway environment. Oversees the department’s day-to-day operations in order to ensure profitability and compliance with company policies, ISO guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements, and to provide excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing and compliance with government regulations and/or company policies. Qualifications:
- Project management includes clearly defining the scope and objectives of the project, meeting deadlines, managing time, contingency planning, budgeting, organization and vendor capabilities, and tracking/monitoring procedures.
- Keep your online store’s daily operations running smoothly by overseeing everything from software integrations to vendor/retailer interactions
- Assists with the yearly planning and budgeting process for E-Commerce, including the construction of new websites and the maintenance of current platforms.
- Developing ways to boost sales in our online shop by combining sales-related knowledge, industry standards, and new advancements.
- Maintain and ensure the correctness of the product catalog (copy, photography, category & navigation, metadata, content optimization, MAP policy).
- Plans, implements, and monitors assigned marketing efforts to ensure that they are finished on time and within budget constraints.
- Maintains a proactive approach to e-commerce and data security as well as site hosting and digital and direct marketing initiatives.
- Manages new web development, web maintenance, hosting, and web application firewall for all e-commerce websites. Co-ordinates and controls the company’s IT resources and external web development businesses.
- Providing analysis and reporting on metrics such as weekly/monthly sales by department, new product sell-through and offer code performance
- Collaborate with internal and external teams (Creative, SEO, Marketing, and Development) to define feature requirements, track progress, conduct user acceptance testing, and deploy new features.
Skills:
- Competencies in e-commerce order fulfillment and delivery as well as payment gateway integration as well as the identification of fraudulent activity are all needed.
- Experience with analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics is required.
- Preference is given to those with at least two years of experience selling collectable goods online and/or in an auction atmosphere.
- Applicant should have a desire to learn and improve his skills on a daily basis, as well as a desire to be a good leader.
- An undergraduate degree in marketing, business administration, or a closely related subject is required for this job.
