In compliance with federal and international legislation controlling the shipping, reception, and documentation of imported/exported goods, the E-Commerce Manager monitors and manages customs clearing operations in the customs house brokerage or gateway environment. Oversees the department’s day-to-day operations in order to ensure profitability and compliance with company policies, ISO guidelines, and applicable regulatory requirements, and to provide excellent customer service through timely and accurate processing and compliance with government regulations and/or company policies. - Ensure the smooth day-to-day operations of an e-commerce platform, including software integrations, merchant and retailer relationships
- Plans, implements, and oversees assigned marketing initiatives, ensuring that they are completed within specified timelines and within budget restrictions.
- Maintain and ensure the correctness of the product catalog (copy, photography, category & navigation, metadata, content optimization, MAP policy).
- Weekly/monthly sales reports per department, new product sell-through, and performance monitoring and reporting on offer codes
- A project manager’s duties include defining the scope of a project, ensuring it is completed on schedule and within budget, managing the project’s resources, and tracking and monitoring its progress.
- Website creation, maintenance, web hosting and web application firewall are all handled by e-commerce websites. Manages external web development businesses and company IT resources.
- Developing methods that take use of sales-related knowledge, industry standards, and new advancements in order to increase sales in our online shop
- A part of the yearly E-Commerce planning and budgeting process, encompassing new web development demands and ongoing platform maintenance.
- Collaborate with numerous internal and external departments (Creative, SEO, Marketing, and Development) to define feature requirements, track development progress, conduct user acceptance testing, and deploy new features.
- Proactively seeks innovation and current best practices in e-commerce, data security, web hosting, and digital and direct marketing activities
- This includes digital marketing and analytics, order fulfillment, distribution/shipping, fraud detection/loss prevention, payment gateway integration, and payment processing capabilities.
- The candidate must be self-motivated and show a willingness to learn and grow as a leader.
- A bachelor’s degree in a subject related to your career goals is a minimum requirement.
- Experience with analytical tools such as Adobe Analytics and Google Analytics is required.
- For this position, you should have at least two years of online selling experience and/or have worked in an auction house selling collectibles.
