Qualifications:
- Collaborating – Working cooperatively with others to help a team or work group achieve its goals.
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Support Office by handling routine administrative tasks such as answering phones, filing documents, arranging the workspace, and clearing clutter, etc.
- Assist with administration and office support duties such as maintaining office records and personnel files and responding to enquiries from employees regarding company policy.
- Respond accurately and promptly to consumer messages, and investigate and resolve customer issues.
- Paper clips, stationary, and other office supplies should be tracked, and any shortages should be reported.
- Keep all of your documents and files up to date and easily accessible.
- Accounting Functions — Participate in a variety of accounting duties throughout the fiscal year, including data entry, payroll, invoices, credits, inventory, billing, and production reporting.
- Standard office practices include printing, scanning, and updating documents. In order to run well, the facility requires a plethora of documents that are both made and stored.
- Take advantage of office machinery like copiers, printers, and computers for tasks like word processing, spreadsheet creation, etc.
- Carry out administrative and clerical tasks as directed and in accordance with established protocols.
Skills:
- demonstrated expertise in a clerical role, such as an office clerk.
- Possess excellent written and vocal communication skills for interacting with clients, truck drivers, office personnel, and management.
- ability to learn about and comprehend the transportation and carpet padding markets.
- A quick typist with stenography and dictation experience.
- Proficient in using standard office equipment and having a basic understanding of how accounting works.
