The Sales and Solutions departments at the station need a Marketing Associate who can act as a central hub for all marketing, data, and content-related activities. The Marketing Associate may act as a junior Marketing Consultant and take charge of specific clients on occasion. The successful candidate will be able to handle multiple tasks at once and has a genuine interest in promoting the collective effort.

- Show that you can manage projects on schedule and within budget while making investment decisions that do the same. Look for openings, and then lead initiatives, that will help spread the word about the brand’s commitment to healthy eating and living.
- Assist in identifying optimal engagement strategy and campaign structure to reach consumers when and where they are most receptive.
- Facilitate effective two-way communication between your company and your customers through the use of digital and social media in your consumer relations campaigns.
- Examine the market landscape for consumer and brand demand using data gathered via digital insight tools.
- Collaborates with Manager to develop annual strategy for maximizing brand demand by synchronizing Marketing and Sales teams and responding quickly to changes in the marketplace based on insights gained from analysis of market, brand, customer, and consumer trends.
- Take advantage of consumer and market trends to learn more about the brand’s target audience or a specific subset of the brand’s target audience, including their demographics, psychographics, and the factors that influence their purchasing decisions.
- Help the brand figure out who they are and what they stand for so they can communicate and innovate effectively with their target audience.
- Manage brand initiatives and assignments in a way that exhibits knowledge of critical consumer insights and the ability to apply them in relevant communications and innovation efforts.
- Find ways to improve the business and take the reins on new initiatives to spread the word about the brand’s commitment to good nutrition, healthy living, and overall well-being.
- Manage agencies and cross-functional teams, develop and implement a communication strategy, and track its progress and results.
- Prior experience creating long-term plans for a brand or product, including marketing and advertising initiatives, is preferred.
- Experience partnering with cross-functional teams and agency partners is preferred.
- A bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience working in consumer marketing, brand management, or product management are prerequisites. Alternatively, a master’s degree in business, marketing, an MBA, or a closely related discipline is necessary.
- It is preferable to have prior experience harnessing data and trends to provide insights into consumer behavior.
- Ideally, you have managed marketing communication initiatives before, implementing digital and media strategies.
