Job Description
We need a seasoned Research Analyst. He/she works with users and groups. The Research Analyst optimizes business challenges (i.e., gathering of requirements, researching technical methods, and creating prototypes). The Research Analyst develops decision support models, proof of ideas, and prototypes to tackle complicated business problems. He/she studies how to modify optimization models to reach desired outcomes. This job studies and assesses current optimization models for accuracy. The Research Analyst works with user groups to improve needs and output.

Qualifications:
- Plans strategies and makes recommendations for technical applications to achieve long-term goals with the help of consultants
- Assists in meeting requirements and evaluating data assessment procedures such as sampling, statistical analysis, evaluation, flow processing, and management evaluation strategies.
- Benefit/cost analysis models are created by assisting or leading the production of mathematical models, constructing simulation models, calibrating and testing models..
- Modeling and measurement techniques are used to look at complex issues, find and solve problems, and make better decisions. Math, statistics, engineering principles, operational math techniques (linear programming, game theory, probability theory, symbolic language, etc.), and other scientific and economic principles and laws are used to do this.
- creative and resourceful in doing research/development and creating documents such as papers/briefings/analyzes that include narrative/tabular/visual aspects.
- Participates in the identification of operational project obstacles and the solution of these issues.
- assist in the establishment of local thought leadership, contribute to national thought leadership, and collaborate with the forecasting team on specific market and industry trends, among other tasks.
- Consolidates analytic requirements by using operations research concepts in conjunction with policies, processes, guidelines and goals.
- Conduct primary due diligence by contacting industry players and connecting potential leads to the investment team by identifying relevant industry participants in a creative manner, such as research analysts and firm management.
- Attend local sales gatherings and participate: Update the market; Contribute to market updates by providing; Record and react to sales meeting action items and requests.
Skills:
- demonstrates broad understanding of the company’s technology, effectively explains basic technical ideas and terminology, and leverages standard technology to the greatest extent possible.
- A bachelor’s degree from an approved college or university in Operations Research, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, or a comparable area is required
- Conducts Research: Discovers the business challenge that necessitates research; identifies appropriate sources of information; evaluates literature and data relating to the research topic; examines existing data; compiles information from several data sources
- Workflows and Techniques Explains basic practices for assessing data on people, technology, or information.
- Develops comprehensive solutions to business problems: Demonstrates a basic understanding of a business issue and makes a recommendation for a solution to the business problem
