Job Description
the Risk Analyst is responsible to the Head of Fixed Income Risk Management for their work. Investing involves a high degree of risk, and the Investment Risk team is tasked with managing that risk across all of the company’s investment portfolios. It is the responsibility of the Fixed Income business to guarantee compliance with the firm’s risk policy and to aid in the identification and measurement of risks, as well as the monitoring and mitigation of such risks.

Qualifications:
- With the help of other members of the team, you may be involved in projects that need you to obtain data from the Mortgage Industry and aid in projects that are handled by others.
- To do background checks, make use of all available resources, such as Factiva, Lexis Nexis, or any other open source intelligence material that has been obtained and collated in order to develop an evaluation.
- Regularly checks and maintains an initial coin offering (ICO) customer list to verify it conforms with regulatory guideline requirements and updates risk tolerance as appropriate.
- Creating solutions that can be scaled across many portfolios, as well as unique risk assessment and mitigation methodologies.
- Re-engineering and system development initiatives that are directly supervised by Corporate Risk Management, or as a technical expert in a team supporting the efforts of the first line of defense.
- Carry out thorough assessments of prospective digital asset customers in response to requests for reports on specific consumers.
- Knowledge of fixed income investments, investment processes, trading strategies and market features as well as regulations is essential.
- be able to engage with the Investment and Business Development teams to create new products and investment solutions for customers.
- Learn all you can about a company’s risks by completing risk assessment studies such as information collecting and coverage placement, loss predictions and analysis, among other activities.
- Make on-the-fly risk evaluations of new wire counter-parties, and perform negative news searches and background checks on potential new or present clients.
Skills:
- The ability to communicate complicated topics to non-technical or quantitative audiences in an effective and competent manner is a strong attribute of the communicator under consideration.
- Accounting/auditing background with 1-3 years of experience in internal controls, consulting, advising, professional services, and/or advertising business is preferred. Strong talent for financial analysis and sophisticated critical thinking abilities.
- Attention to detail as exhibited by excellent time management, solid organizational abilities, and analytical thinking to solve issues
- Inquisitive and open-minded – ready to question the status quo and find new methods to solve old issues
- Proficiency in analyzing vast amounts of data and identifying patterns using a range of statistical techniques, as well as analytical and problem-solving talents.
