Qualifications:
- Communicate with various departments, discussing business strategy and coming to a consensus on future directions.
- Ability to develop accounting and financial procedures and structures, as well as instill a Continuous Improvement culture within the company.
- Make proposals for investment activities and initiatives that the firm should follow.
- Provide financial reports and financial data to management, as well as recommendations for future actions.
- Making judgments on engagements, such as assessing engagement risks, deciding which methods to pursue to reach a desired level of certainty, and analyzing evidence, necessitates independent thinking ability.
- For major events and activities, develop a measurement system and KPIs.
- Working with auditors, make sure the company’s finances are in good shape.
- Anticipate bottlenecks, control escalation, foresee and make trade-offs, and strike a balance between business goals and technological and procedural restrictions.
- Costs, pricing, variable contributions, sales results, and the company’s actual performance vs. business goals are all factors to examine.
- Assist in the preparation of withholding tax, value-added tax, income tax, and other tax returns, as well as related documentation and schedules, as required by government rules.
Skills:
- It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree in economics, finance, or business administration, or a degree with a significant mathematical component (MBA preferred).
- It is necessary to have a working knowledge of web-based collaborative tools.
- Capacity to lead and develop the skills and competencies of finance teams.
- The applicant should have a strong sense of leadership and a drive to continually learn and improve his abilities.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, as well as coaching and counselling talents, are also required.
