Job Description
You’ll play a key role in guiding the Accounting department in its mission. There are several aspects of this role that involve developing and managing an Accounting team, increasing the Company’s accounting procedures and activities and offering important information that will help Forward Financing enhance its performance. The Director of FP&A, as well as the rest of the Leadership Team, will regularly collaborate with you on accounting projects, and your participation in moving our vision forward and helping expand the company will be important.

Qualifications:
- Implements and maintains rigorous accounting controls to ensure compliance with internal and external rules and directives.
- Establishes suitable revenue recognition and cost accrual methods that are adequate to properly handle the company’s assets.
- To ensure that all of the gear is in excellent functioning order, this position is responsible for establishing preventive maintenance standards, evaluating new equipment, and negotiating service contracts.
- Collaborate with internal constituents as well as external tax consultants in order to guarantee the timely and accurate filing of tax returns as well as the distribution of quarterly tax payments. This need to be done taking the rules of the municipal, state, and federal governments into consideration.
- Analyzes data to determine profitability, ROI, and costs. Compares facts to support results and suggestions.
- The financial analyst reviews the budget and financial reporting. He or she also contributes to the financial planning. Maintain communication between internal management and the organization’s parent corporation.
- As needed, support Finance Department projects, such as the development of software and systems and other departmental or enterprise-wide enhancements, via research, planning, and execution.

- Applicants must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in accounting, auditing, and financial management, as well as a knowledge with accounting concepts and corporate taxes.
- A bachelor’s degree is required, and if you have the option, you should get one that specializes in either economics, accounting, or finance. Candidates that hold either a master’s degree or one or more additional professional credentials will be given strong consideration (such as a CPA or CMA).
