You will have a variety of duties as a practice manager, including managing staff, organizing the office, scheduling appointments, and handling invoicing and financial matters for the clinic. The ideal applicant has 4-5 years of previous clinic management experience, strong customer service abilities, and an optimistic outlook.

Qualifications:
- Maintain a safe workplace in accordance with all local, state, and federal health and safety standards and laws, as well as office and business policy and procedures, and ensure compliance with all applicable state dental legislation.
- Maintain an office climate that allows for the best possible patient care and customer service.
- Knowledge of software systems necessary for data creation, storage, and retrieval for management reporting must be maintained.
- Recruitment, retention and termination of workers, engage with HR to assess, investigate and resolve employee issues.
- Scheduling associates, coordinating time off and managing continuing education needs.
- Organize personnel and keep an eye on how daily tasks for the clinical, administrative, and billing employees are doing.
- Hospital leadership should be kept informed alongside Clinical and Practice Management Executives during the goal-setting and problem-solving processes.
- analyze and arrange office processes, such as payroll preparation, cash management, invoice processing, and other administrative tasks.
- Create and manage office budgets, as well as the procurement of general office supplies and equipment.
- The Practice Manager is an integral member of the hospital’s leadership team and works closely with the chief of staff to oversee daily operations.
Skills:
- Must have the ability to manage all departmental functions and have the ability to communicate (orally and in writing) with patients, doctors and other departments.
- Consideration will be given to those with two years or more of relevant experience in office administration.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities, as well as the capacity to confront and deal with staff difficulties.
- Three years of experience in the hospital, veterinary, service industry, etc. is required, preferably with some managing responsibilities (includes hiring, associate development, etc.).
- Human resource law, record keeping, and confidentiality are all fundamentals that need to be grasped.
