Full-Time Fire Systems Lead – Dammam
Job Description
Respond to requests for hazardous materials response and rescue operations within their authority; they also regulate the crowds and traffic at disaster scenes; they give First Responder medical treatment when required; and they conduct other related jobs as needed. A valid driver’s license is essential for all firefighters. The students in this class are expected to follow a set of procedures, but they are also expected to make their own judgments about when and how to perform the assigned activities.

Qualifications:
- Smoke detector installation, special community events, and school activities are all part of the Firefighter’s role as a customer relations representative for the department.
- capacity to do all of the tasks above without placing oneself or others in risk.
- Prepare for an emergency response in the event of an explosion or the release of hazardous materials such as gas. Surface drainage systems may be protected against damage by building dikes or storing hazardous items in a way that prevents them from discharging.
- Initiates firefighting operations and aids in the suppression of blazes by performing rescue and entry operations as well as ventilation and salvage work; penetrates buildings, looks for and rescues trapped individuals, and performs ventilation and salvage operations.

- Prioritize daily maintenance of the vehicle you’ve been assigned as your primary task. Maintaining proper fluid levels is only one of a mechanic’s numerous duties. You may choose to not refuel and clean the vehicle but we strongly urge that you do so.

Skills:
- You must be able to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization, both verbally and in writing.
- The NFPA 1582 standard requires a physical assessment. Lifting, carrying, pushing, pulling, or otherwise moving anything requires the ability to habitually and/or sometimes use 100 pounds of force.
- Additionally, certifications in CPR and first aid are essential, as is the ability to complete 240 hours of training each year in addition to carrying out the obligations of the position.
- Maintaining current active status on all required licenses is a condition of continued employment, and the employee must have the license with him or her at all times while at work.
