As an Industrial Designer, you will be a part of a growing and exciting field. As a member of this team, you’ll help manage a vast array of computer hardware and software, including personal computers, monitors, add-ons, services, apps, and VR goggles. We need your expertise as an Industrial Designer to help us improve the world by encouraging greener product development and finding new ways to put technology to work for the benefit of people’s daily lives.

Qualifications:
- Work with other experts to assess whether design suggestions will meet needs, such as mechanical engineers and manufacturers.
- Collaborate with the HP design group to come up with ground-breaking ideas that make use of the latest materials, forms, and color schemes.
- Take into account product design aesthetics and a language that consistently provides a favorable user experience while supporting the brand.
- Collaborates with in-house and third-party manufacturing and engineering teams to develop and verify product design specifications and production needs.
- Provide key stakeholders with presentations of designs and prototypes for their approval.
- Collaborate closely with sourcing to develop brand-compliant production and packaging methods that keep costs down.
- Product safety, aesthetics, and functionality can all help you decide if a design is feasible.
- Inspire creative thinking and help the group prioritize the contests we participate.
- Create and sustain a culture of safety by taking the lead in all safety program activities.
- Make design iterations for products and offer your services to different decision-makers.
Skills:
- proven track record of achievement in the field as a designer, as indicated by a body of work that effectively demonstrates your abilities.
- Capacity to identify complex design obstacles, such as those involving a product’s requirement, size, form, function, and cost; to foresee manufacturing problems; to generate alternatives; to weigh those alternatives; and to implement solutions.
- Analytical abilities: making use of reason and investigation to learn about target markets and establish a need for new offerings.
- Creativity is on display in the company’s new product’s forward-thinking designs and methods of merging cutting-edge technologies.
- Able to produce concepts and construct prototypes using computer-aided design tools.
