Job Description

The Digital Designer is in charge of creating creative for emails, web sites, social media graphics, banner ads, and other digital aspects that is both successful and on-brand. The Digital Designer will manage, design, and schedule email campaigns, collaborate with our in-house Digital Marketing team and in-house Graphic Design team to create compelling digital and social media campaigns, collaborate with our e-Commerce team and developers to ensure aesthetics aligned with usability, accessibility, and web standards, and ensure branding consistency across all digital customer touchpoints.

Qualifications:

  • Excellent design and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work in a team, complete projects on time and on budget, pay close attention to detail, and juggle various tasks and projects, are all desirable qualities.
  • Over 4 years of professional graphic design experience with proven project management skills.
  • Assemble disparate elements of a design created by another specialist, such as branding programs, to meet the art director’s criteria.
  • Assist Senior Designers, Art Directors, and the Creative Director in bringing the brand and seasonal expression to life in all marketing materials.
  • In all internal and external communications, make sure that images and logos are used correctly. All internal visuals, as well as any aesthetic changes, must be evaluated and/or approved by the Marketing & Communications Manager before being used.
  • Select the most appropriate ways for producing the desired visual effects and give recommendations for methods and materials to accomplish them.
  • Maintaining web pages, blogs, social networking websites, newsletters, newspapers, magazines, graphic design, artwork, and infographics, as well as offering desktop publishing and presentation support are all required skills.
  • External printing of planned and produced printed content that has been approved by the Marketing & Communications Manager is coordinated.
  • With the help of cross-functional teams, create promotional and automated email campaigns, landing pages, banner adverts, and social media images.
  • For print, web, and social media campaigns, the candidate must be able to create educational/factual content.

Skills:

  • Web-based collaborative software knowledge is required.
  • These programs must be familiar to the applicant, as well as how to utilize them (InDesign, Illustrator, Photoshop, and Acrobat).
  • Experiential knowledge of illustrating concepts through the design of rough layouts of art and copy in terms of arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts, obtaining concept approval through the submission of rough layouts for approval, and preparing finished copy and art for production and printing.
  • Excel, Hyperion, and SAP are all desirable. Strong computer skills and application expertise are required.
  • A bachelor’s degree in authorized graphic arts or visual arts/communications is required. If the candidate possesses a related Master’s degree in visual information and graphics design from a recognized institution, or a high school diploma or equivalent, and at least ten (10) years of recent experience in visual information and graphics design, the bachelor’s degree may be waived.
