A Front Desk Receptionist who is both self-directed and enthusiastic is wanted. The Front Desk Receptionist is responsible for overseeing the lobby area, greeting guests, and making them feel welcome. Qualifications:
- gives standard answers to common client inquiries and directs more complex inquiries to the manager of the corporate office.
- The names and room numbers of residents, as well as the names and phone numbers of on-call staff, department extensions, important people, etc., should be kept up-to-date in a file or listing.
- keeps track of important records, paperwork, communications, and directories. makes plans for the boxes to be shredded and stored offsite. managing the servicing and repair of copy machines.
- Make sure visitors adhere by the guidelines and turn away anyone who requests access.
- Watch everything carefully to make sure it’s clean, well-maintained, and safe according to the company’s standards.
- Manage incoming calls for several departments in a professional and timely manner using a multi-line telephone system. uses the company’s intercom system in a cordial and businesslike manner.
- Engage in and attend mandatory training events (workshops, seminars, etc.), as well as in-service training and on-the-job training programs.
- Understand the procedures for dealing with all parts of client complaints or disputes.
- Handle specific administrative projects, such as department and executive assistant overflow.
- Helps visitors get badges and registered in a secure manner.
Skills:
- Proven job experience as a front office representative, receptionist, or in a position equivalent.
- Proven expertise managing a busy schedule and organizing meetings and appointments.
- Multitasking and time-management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to manage and prioritize many tasks while adhering to severe deadlines.
- Capacity for multitasking and attending to several, often complex, undertakings at once.
