Job Description
The hotel front desk must be committed to offering excellent service to visitors. The job must help visitors at all times, answer phones, and check in and out guests according to business requirements. The hotel front desk is also responsible for completing daily paperwork and assuring associate and guest safety and security.

Qualifications:
- Produce daily cash report, balancing payments and expenditures with machine totals; prepare deposit slip; and support the Guest Services Manager by giving a summary of daily bank status. Request changes as required.
- Greet them with a warm and heartfelt greeting right away. Use a cheerful and clear speaking voice, listen to fully comprehend requests, take appropriate action, and offer correct information such as store hours and nearby attractions.
- Impact Housekeeping, Social, Breakfast, and Laundry, among others. Clean the guest toilets, lobby, and other public areas of the hotel at all times.
- Fill out your guests’ registration forms and make sure they have all the information they need before they arrive. Accept credit cards and photo IDs, write down the information on the guest’s account, and give guests their change when they need it.
- People excellence shows that you care about helping people and are committed to customer service and working together. Product excellence: Make sure your customers have a good time by giving them friendly service and a quick, accurate check-in.
- Excellent service to guests entails welcoming them with a warm smile and supporting them in acquiring information about the guest and things to do in the nearby region. Over and beyond finding innovative ways to make money, the hotel places a high value on the guest experience.
- Assist with cleaning any area of the hotel allocated by the management, including but not limited to the front desk, the associate break room, the guest laundry, the fitness room, the vending areas, the stairwells, and the common spaces.
- Hotel conversations, reports, and data must be kept confidential at all times. Handle incoming and outgoing reservation requests and lost-and-found items according the General Manager’s instructions.
- At check-out, close guest accounts and assess satisfaction. In case of discontent, study and try to fix issue within limits; may include involving a supervisor.
- At all times, assist guests efficiently, courteously, and professionally. Maintain a high degree of service and hospitality. Deal with guest problems or difficulties promptly and efficiently, and ensure that all are fulfilled to satisfaction in a timely way.
Skills:
- Diploma or equivalent necessary. Required computer skills Minimum 3 years’ Front Desk experience
- the skills to perform work duties while standing and moving about the front office Reading, listening and speaking fluency in both written and spoken English.
- Communicate well with internal and external consumers who require patience, tact, and diplomacy to moderate anger, obtain information, and resolve problems.
- In order to succeed in this role, you must have some experience with property management software. All shift reports must be reviewed, and audits must be carried out as planned.
