Job Description
We are looking for a skilled Drywall Finisher to join our team. We are a well-established paint and drywall company in the greater County region that works on both residential and commercial projects. Applicants must have at least two years of drywall experience to be considered. This is not only a summer job; we keep our personnel levels year-round!

Qualifications:
- Ensuring everyone is safe and healthy at work is critical. Always have PPE on hand.
- Using trowels, brushes, rollers, or a texture hopper, apply texturizing chemicals or primers to walls or ceilings before final finishing. To secure wallboard and metal structural components, use metal molding at wall corners.
- Serving as a good steward of our company’s physical assets, avoiding damage and misuse, reporting any necessary repairs, and keeping your assigned area clean and organized are all examples of stewardship.
- When you work in a group, you may produce items that meet our quality requirements while also meeting our productivity goals.
- Painting, wallpaper repair, staining and other finishes are used to enhance and protect the interior surfaces of a home or commercial building. The Finisher uses hand and power tools to prepare and finish walls and surfaces, as well as to repair damaged wood and metal doors.
- Attendance: You are responsible for following to all divisional attendance rules and procedures, including fulfilling all attendance requirements and coming to work on time for the start of your shift.
- Trowels, wide knives, and spatulas are all necessary tools for applying sealing compound between boards or panels or over cracks, holes, nail heads, or screw heads.
- Communicates and collaborates with the supervisor, the customer, and other trades and subcontractors in order to offer high-quality, timely, and cost-effective maintenance services while maintaining service continuity and coordination.
- Assist your Team Leader and Area Coordinator in planning and organizing your area’s production activities by discussing expected material shortages, identifying required tool maintenance, and communicating any quality and productivity issues.
- Communication with your supervisor and reporting any job-related challenges, as well as ensuring that all equipment and supplies are handled properly, is an important part of being an effective team member in the workplace.
Skills:
- Possessing the ability to carry out physically challenging tasks.
- It is necessary to possess communication abilities.
- In high school, carpentry, shop, mechanical drawing, and basic math courses are suggested.
- The applicant must possess a strong sense of leadership as well as a strong desire to learn and enhance his skills.
- It is preferred that you have prior experience in the construction and/or manufacturing industries.
