Job Description
We’re looking for a Tax Associate to join our team. This position will help in the preparation of the company’s tax returns and give assistance during audits of the tax returns. Participate in the day-to-day operations of the company’s tax, accounting, and payroll departments. Accountable for managing all elements of our customers’ accounts, including customer service.

- Review accounts, activities, and make reconciliations of income tax balances (i.e., income tax due and deferred tax assets and liabilities) and Tax Receivable Agreement (“TRA”) general ledger accounts, including international withholding and franchise/gross receipts taxes.
- Monitor all compliance and filing status, as well as aid in the preparation of tax returns, extensions of time to file, projected tax payments, and other tax compliance operations.
- Prepare tax memos and client letters, as well as offer opinions on a broad variety of tax difficulties, as well as research and assess tax concerns.
- Responsible for notifying management of any technique or process that does not fulfill regulatory standards, including fraud, whether suspected or verified.
- Gaining expertise in accounting through learning how to record and construct financial statements from bank accounts and other sources, as well as how to generate personal balance sheets and net worth statements.
- making charitable donations, filing estate and gift tax returns, and other philanthropic activities available to people in order to help them leave a legacy.
- Preparation of various international assignment cost projections; preparation of tax returns for expatriates; preparation of equalization and other miscellaneous tax forms for expatriates.
Skills:
- In order to be considered for this position, you must possess both a bachelor’s degree in accounting as well as the CPA certification. 3-6 years of tax experience with a big CPA firm or a public company’s corporate tax department is required, as well as the ability to communicate well with others.
- A self-starter who can handle many projects and procedures while reaching internal and external deadlines.
- Understanding and interpreting safety regulations, operating and maintenance guidelines, and procedure manuals.. Being able to communicate effectively via the written word. Clearly and succinctly address questions from business employees and the general public. The ability to communicate successfully with people is a must. Possession of the ability to do basic math operations with whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals in all measurement units. The capacity to compute percentages, ratios, and rates, as well as to create and interpret bar graphs.
