Qualifications:
- Manages tasks and an autonomous team (s). Selects, directs, and coaches personnel. Establishes the team’s general direction. Identifies and executes team member training activities. Pay, employment, and termination choices are made.
- Maintain accurate accounting, reporting, and recordkeeping for departmental activities in accordance with business standards and state and federal regulations.
- Train and oversee the customer service, data entry, and/or dispatch and warehouse employees of the shift. Offer superior customer service to both internal and external clients.
- Ensuring maximum efficiency, professionalism, and compliance with corporate rules and processes while maintaining the greatest level of secrecy.
- Get engaged in and lead departmental or bank-related tasks as much as possible. This job’s extra benefits include the opportunity to lead or participate in Federal Reserve System work groups or initiatives.
- Ensure that all department workers get a thorough introduction, skills and safety training, relevant materials and information, frequent assessments, and proactive coaching to help them grow.
- Supervise the completeness and timeliness of all shipping paperwork. Ensure prompt pickups and recoveries while reducing costs. Input freight or rate quotations for customers.
- Check to see whether the US Treasury Currency Operations Manual and Federal Reserve System Custody Control Principles and Standards are followed.
- It is essential that workers and others be made aware of any difficulties that may impair collaboration or procedures, resources, or other commitments. It is critical to maintain regular contact with the local Field Engineer.
- Helps the goals of the department or division. This person’s opinion has an impact on everything from goods and service practices to corporate objectives. A project manager is responsible for ensuring that everyone is on the same page when it comes to the company’s goals and objectives.
Skills:
- A bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, transportation, finance, or a related field, or an equivalent mix of work experience and education, is preferred. Work experience in a related area. 2 years of leadership or supervisory experience Industry experience is preferred.
- If you have one year of experience, you may substitute a Master’s degree in Criminal Justice or Law Enforcement, or a Bachelor’s degree in Rehabilitation Therapy or Health Sciences.
- Ability to lead people has been shown. The capacity of a person to delegate work and/or responsibilities to others in order to maximize both the organization’s and the individual’s efficiency. Customer-oriented. Customers and their needs must always come first; success requires a strong capacity to form and sustain productive relationships.
- Advanced expertise with Microsoft Office, the internet, web-based applications, and job-specific software. Ability to do addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division using US and/or foreign cash, weight, and distance units.
- +2 years of ops experience (preferably in a cash handling environment). Prefer banking experience. Experience supervising an operations team or a relevant functional area for level II. Level III requires 5 years or more.) Working with others and great leadership experience.
