Job Description

The HR Specialist will be in charge of a wide range of responsibilities, including overseeing a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks and providing clerical support to the HR department and employees regarding human resources-related activities, policies, processes, and procedures, particularly Leave of Absence.

Qualifications:

  • Performance evaluations, compensation transactions, and disciplinary actions in the HR information system are all completed on schedule and according to authorized authorization.
  • Confidence, expertise, and empathy are crucial while speaking with internal and external partners, clients/customers.
  • Leave of absence processing and compliance with federal, state, and municipal standards are handled by this position.
  • Maintains records of insurance coverage, retirement plans, and personnel transactions such as hires, promotions, transfers, performance reviews, terminations, and other personnel and payroll matters.
  • This person is professional and tactful, excelling at resolving issues for employees. They escalate concerns as needed but also provide insight about employee’s concerns to building management, regional human resources (HR) representatives, and corporate HR officials.
  • Employees are provided with information on the company’s human resources rules and procedures (e.g. Time Off with Pay, Tuition Reimbursement, etc.).
  • Responds to employee personnel enquiries and enters, edits, Adds, and deletes appropriate information into the HR Information System. Reports any odd or unresolved issues to the HR Manager for follow-up.
  • Prepares routine and special reports by doing necessary trend analysis and identifying issue areas with a narrow margin for error and a high level of priority.
  • Orients new workers to the HR Information System and performs data input into the HR Information System. It is the responsibility of this position to ensure that data is entered accurately and thoroughly, and that workers are aware of all company regulations and procedures, including those included in the employee handbook.
  • I am responsible for helping the recruiting team meet or exceed monthly and annual targets. I work with hiring managers to ensure a positive candidate experience throughout every step of the process.

Skills:

  • There must be a thorough understanding of human resources concepts, practices, and processes.
  • It is necessary to possess communication abilities.
  • A college or university degree in human resources, labor relations, employment law, or a similar field is required.
  • An eager problem-solver who pays great attention to client cues and strives to resolve conflicts with grace and honesty.
  • In addition to a strong feeling of responsibility and leadership, the applicant must be eager to learn and improve his skills.
