Job Description
As a Junior Graphic Designer, you’ll work with a creative and skilled group to produce high-quality work in a variety of areas, such as but not limited to website design, user experience design, print and digital collateral, and event graphics. Candidates should be well-versed in design, hierarchy, problem solving, layout, typography, and have excellent communication skills both verbally and in writing. This individual needs to be detail minded, as well as capable of handling multiple tasks at once.

Qualifications:
- Obtains concept clearance by sending rough layouts, deadlines, and estimates to Senior Graphic Designer and VP of Marketing for approval.
- creates stunning and readable presentations for our sales department using already PowerPoint templates.
- gathers information and resources from the right individuals in order to carry out a task.
- becomes familiar with the logos, components, and overall identity of our partner companies as well as the brand guidelines for using them.
- Keeps abreast of developments in their field by reading relevant trade magazines, attending conferences, etc.
- Distribute, in accordance with established guidelines and aesthetics, printed materials, email messages with embedded images, and digital assets for our website and social media pages.
- Conceptualizes assignments by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size and style, and related aesthetic concepts as per specified media requirements. Adjusts designs and copy according to direction provided by stakeholders.
- assist in creating marketing materials with strong visual impact and support the innovative presentation of our products and services to the general public and our partner clients.
- Effectively collaborates with the senior graphic designer, the vice president of marketing, and outside firms (when necessary).
- efficiently and successfully completes tasks within the limits of time and budget.
Skills:
- Prior expertise with Microsoft PowerPoint, WordPress, Squarespace, and 3D (Blender or other) is a bonus.
- adaptability and originality in the face of uncertainty.
- Possess excellent interpersonal communication and teamwork skills.
- competent in the Adobe InDesign and Illustrator print production workflow.
- A high attention to design detail, with an interest in usability and user experience.
