In the absence of the Store Manager, the Key Holder opens and shuts a retail store. Provides retail management, monitoring, and direct assistance to customers, as well as ensuring that the business satisfies requirements in terms of aesthetics. Completes sales transactions and runs cash registers or credit/debit card processing equipment. Responsibilities include point-of-sale transactions, goods handling, inventory management, and stockroom organization. Receives, stores, and replaces products on the sales floor, as well as stocks merchandise.

  • Achieve daily sales and productivity targets while assisting others in doing the same.
  • The ability to execute tender purchases, collect cash or credit payments, count cash, and interact with clients is also required for this role.
  • All store opening and closing procedures are completed accurately. Cleanliness, orderliness, and cleanliness of the sales floor, stock room, and outside product area are the primary responsibilities of this position.
  • Providing clients with a remarkable shopping experience that leaves them feeling inspired, emboldened, affirmed, and eager to return.
  • Keep the shop clean and well-maintained, set up loss prevention rules, make sure receipts are processed quickly, keep the shelves full, and price things correctly.
  • Keeps up to date on payment and exchange regulations, as well as security requirements, in order to increase service levels while lowering security concerns.
  • Reconcile product invoices to products received, shipped, and transferred as required for appropriate inventory by entering all receipt, shipping, and transfer paperwork precisely into the computer system.
  • Act as a direct supporter of your management team, ensuring that all tasks are completed to a high standard.
  • Greets and helps customers; promptly and professionally answers to client enquiries and complaints; handles customer issues and concerns. Maintains an awareness of guiding concepts and POS system updates.
  • Assist shop managers with sales calls made outside of the store. Ascertain that all pages and phone calls are quickly, courteously, and effectively answered to.


  • In order to succeed in this role, you will need to be proficient in Microsoft Office, especially Excel and Word.
  • Stand or walk for an extended period of time and be able to lift up to 40 pounds (fixture components or retail cartons).
  • You must be able to establish and maintain excellent working relationships with employees, departments, and members of the general public..
