Full-Time Lab Technologist – Day Shift – Al Makhwah
Job Description
Working in a laboratory requires assistance from a Lab Technician. As time goes on, Lab Technicians are taking on more and more responsibilities. As part of quality control, lab technicians are in charge of monitoring processes and doing product testing. Chemists and other team members supervise them as they carry out routine lab tasks including setting up equipment and creating chemical solutions. As well as doing tests and gathering data, they also create and present their findings in the form of reports and other output.

Qualifications:
- On the list of responsibilities, there is a chance that chromatography column packing, cycle studies, stability studies, material creation, and some analytical help will be added (HPLC, ELISA, SDS-PAGE).
- Performs effectively both as a member of a team and on his or her own, ensures that laboratory equipment is kept clean and in excellent operating condition, and carries out additional activities as specified.
- High-complexity testing is only done under the guidance of a technologist or management. Follows up on critical, abnormal, and unsatisfactory test results.
- It is critical that the lab work queue delivers products on time, that the Lab Scope is well understood, and that the necessary lab paperwork and processes are well understood.
- To collect and weigh test samples; to ignite samples; and to provide results Involve yourself in the laboratory’s daily operations.
- Participates in reviewing and presenting outcomes in official and informal venues and gives ideas

- The key tasks of the technician include the preparation of buffers, the maintenance of equipment, the general care of the lab, the inventory of common materials, and the coordination of these operations with the actions of the other technicians.
- Make and analyze product blends to help with batch adjustments, root cause investigations, or evaluating new products. Use the latest analytical testing methods on materials that are raw, in process, or finished.
Skills:
- High school graduation or equivalent, plus 12 semester units of chemistry or bacteriology. A year in a lab
- This role requires previous manufacturing experience or a mix of education and training. For admission, a bachelor’s degree in chemistry from a four-year institution or university is necessary.
- Hands and arms are often needed to manipulate things, tools, or controls; to speak or hear; to taste or smell; and to reach with hands and arms. Standing, walking, and sitting are all common activities expected of the employee. To do their job, a person must routinely lift and/or move up to 25 pounds off the ground.
- The ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with numbers using tens and hundreds as well as two-digit integers. Capability to do these activities with American money as well as units of weight measurement, volume measurement, and distance measurement.
- Read a restricted number of two- and three-syllable words and notice similarities and differences between words and series of numbers. Capability to read and write basic phrases.
