Qualifications:
- Oversee the department’s administrative tasks, including accounting, reporting, and recordkeeping, in accordance with the company’s internal regulations and state and federal regulations.
- Do your best to become involved in and lead department or bank-related projects. The ability to lead or participate in Federal Reserve System work groups or projects is an additional benefit of this job function.
- Contributes to department/divisional goals. Contributes to product development, policy service processes, and/or the establishment of new business and service objectives. Coordinates the action plan of the team to achieve its goals/objectives.
- Issues impacting collaboration, process, resources, and other duties should be communicated to workers and others. It is necessary to communicate with and engage with the local Field Engineer on a daily basis.
- Examine if the US Treasury’s Currency Operations Manual and the Federal Reserve System’s Custody Control Principles and Standards are being followed.
- Orientation, skills and safety training, suitable materials and information, frequent assessments, and proactive coaching for all department personnel.
- In command of a self-directed group of employees (s). The manager chooses and mentors staff employees. The team’s overall direction is set. Develops and implements training programs for team members. Makes compensation, employment, and firing decisions.
- Do all you can to guarantee that the area is run efficiently, professionally and in accordance with company policies and procedures with the highest confidentiality.
- Check that all shipping documentation are completed on schedule and accurately. Ensure timely and cost-effective recoveries and pick-ups. For clients, enter pricing proposals or freight costs.
- Supervisory and training responsibilities for customer service, data entry, dispatch, and warehousing staff assigned to the corresponding shift. Ensure that all employees provide excellent customer service to both internal and external customers.
Skills:
- Experience in running operations spanning at least two years (preferably in a cash handling environment). Experience in banking-related fields is desired. (At least three years of experience serving in a supervisory capacity on an operations team or in a relevant functional area are required for level II. The minimum requirement for Level III experience is five years.) Strong leadership and the ability to collaborate effectively with others are essential components of desirable experience.
- OR a Bachelor’s Degree in Criminal Justice, Law Enforcement, Rehabilitation Therapy, Health Sciences, Behavioral Sciences or a similar subject may substitute for 6 months of experience.
- The person knows a lot about Microsoft Office, the internet, and job-related software programs. Use US and/or foreign money, weight, volume, and distance measurements, as well as other units, to multiply and divide.
- Inspiring people is something you’re capable of doing. How well a person is able to distribute work and responsibilities to others in order to improve both their personal and company efficiency. Customer-oriented. Strong customer interactions are necessary for successful commercial partnerships.
- You should have a bachelor’s degree in logistics or a similar discipline such as supply chain management, transportation management, finance, etc. Experience in a comparable field is desired. Two years of supervisory or leadership experience. Extensive subject expertise is necessary.
