- Check in all arriving guests and make certain that all necessary information is gathered, the registration card is filled out, and a payment mechanism is established. Accept and record credit card and picture ID information on guest accounts and deliver change for guests as required.
- After guests check out, we can evaluate whether they were pleased. If you can’t solve an issue within the company’s rules and regulations, call a supervisor.
- Immediately provide them with a warm greeting that is both real and courteous. Employ a voice that is upbeat and easy to hear, actively listen to ensure you fully comprehend requests, reply with appropriate action, and give correct information, such as store hours and nearby points of interest.
- Guest excellence: Talk to guests with a smile and help them find out about the property and nearby things to do. Guest experience – looks for ways to make more money.
- Serving all guests quickly, politely, and professionally, Maintain a high level of service and hospitality. Solve guest problems and complaints as quickly as possible and as satisfactorily as needed.
- Hotel communications, reports, and data must be kept safe at all times. Take care of incoming and outgoing bookings and lost and found items according the GM’s instructions.
- People excellence shows a passion for customer service and teamwork. Product excellence – give friendly, smiling service and a swift, accurate check-in.
- Help other departments like Breakfast, Social, Housekeeping, and Laundry to be successful. Ensure that the hotel’s toilets, lobby, and any other public spaces are kept spotless.
- Produce deposit slips, provide the Guest Services Manager with a report on the day’s financial position, and reconcile the day’s payments and expenditures with the amounts that are shown on the machines. The need for adjustments
- Assist with cleaning any hotel location designated by management, including but not limited to the front desk, associate break room, guest laundry, exercise room, vending areas, stairwells, and communal areas.
- Diploma or equivalent necessary. Required computer skills Minimum 3 years’ Front Desk experience
- Effectively interact with internal and external clients who require patience, tact, and diplomacy to moderate anger, obtain info, and solve problems.
- Required skills include knowledge of how to use the property management system technology. It is vital that you have the capacity to go through all of the shift reports and carry out the audit function whenever it is required and assigned.
- Capable of standing and moving about the front office while performing necessary work duties Able to read, listen, and speak and write in English.
- The ability to obtain and accurately input data using a highly advanced computer system. It is critical to be able to hear and perceive warning signs of an oncoming disaster in order to remain safe.
