Job Description
In partnership with the medical directors of standalone or multi-faceted clinics, or several satellite clinics of physician practices, the Healthcare Administrator offers strategic direction and operational leadership. The clinic leadership team is developed and managed to ensure that team members have the qualifications to offer quality patient care.

Qualifications:
- Individuals are managed in a variety of ways, including hiring, training, assigning work, managing and evaluating performance, and conducting professional development programs. Assures that the group’s productivity and activities align with/support the department’s general operational objectives as stated by department leadership.
- Constantly engages with doctors/providers with the purpose of providing direction and oversight for successful scheduling, efficient clinic work flow, and patient flow while also building and maintaining a mutually beneficial relationship.
- Ensures that residents are receiving the best possible care at all times by working with other department managers in the community.
- Leads direct reports in the implementation of work plans and long and short-term objectives. Implements infrastructure at the site level, as well as improvements to supporting procedures and systems. Implements and completes the site’s objectives.
- Visible daily rounding for the benefit of patient flow as well as the pleasure of both patients and providers. The ability to respond quickly and effectively to problems that arise in the course of normal workdays. Consider the needs of your customers and your company’s budget when creating a personnel strategy. Encourage good change by creating an atmosphere conducive to employee involvement and feedback.
- Respond to patient complaints; examine the situation, probable risk, effective resolution, and clinical care issues, among other considerations, to determine whether the complaint should be escalated.
- Budgets are prepared and adhered to for departmental employment, revenue, and/or costs. Responds to business developments that may have an influence on the ability of the budget to be reached.
- This role plans, develops, organizes, evaluates, and implements programs and activities for residents. This individual is in charge of the Healthcare Center’s staff and volunteers.
- The rights of patients and residents to fair and equal treatment, self-determination, uniqueness and privacy are to be respected.
- Tools that make it simpler for managers to accomplish anything from delivering performance reviews to enforcing workplace rules to dealing with employee difficulties make employee recruitment and training easier.
Skills:
- Must be able to communicate tastefully with all levels of the organization, including staff, residents/patients, family members, visitors, government agencies/staff, and the general public.
- Two (2) or more years of relevant experience in health services management and/or resident services management is required.
- Must have the capacity to lead and the desire to work together with and oversee other workers.
- Must be familiar with all state and federal rules (including those governing Medicare reimbursement), as well as all laws, regulations, and standards governing long-term care management.
- At the very least, a bachelor’s degree in healthcare, business administration, or a closely related field is required for entry into these fields.
