The Marketing Associate supports the Manager in developing the brand’s consumer communications and innovation strategies and works with the team to seek out information that will enable it to develop a complete grasp of the brand’s target market and create memorable brand experiences. The marketing associate is in charge of organizing and carrying out projects that support the marketing manager’s strategies for the brand’s communications and innovation. This job closely collaborates with agency partners on communications strategy, planning, and execution. In order to increase demand for a brand’s goods and services, this job collaborates with sales, shopper marketing, operations, product development, and finance.

- Assist in determining the best engagement strategy and campaign structure to contact customers at the right time and place.
- Manage consumer communication projects that create a creative environment that brings the brand to life and enables efficient consumer communication with a digital and social first approach.
- Identify opportunities for innovation and renovation in support of the brand’s nutrition, health, and wellness proposition and lead the charge in bringing them to fruition.
- Utilizes data and trends about the brand, consumers, and the market to assist the manager in creating an annual plan to closely coordinate the efforts of marketing and sales in order to create the best demand for the brand.
- Take charge of brand endeavors and responsibilities in a way that demonstrates an understanding of crucial consumer insights and the ability to activate them through appropriate communications and innovation endeavors.
- Support the brand’s requirement to have consumers recognize and comprehend what the brand represents in their minds, including the brand’s identity, essence, vision, mission, and fundamental values, in order to drive pertinent communications and innovation.
- Direct the management, strategy, planning, execution, and assessment of communication plan efforts that target specific touchpoints or consumer goals.
- Use tools of digital intelligence to examine the competitive landscape of brand demand from consumers.
- Use consumer and marketplace data and trends to support developing a deeper understanding of the demographics, psychographics, and behavioral drivers of the brand’s consumer or a particular consumer segment.
- Experience managing marketing communications initiatives that include media and digital strategies is preferred.
- Prior expertise developing strategic plans for brands or products, including commercialization and communication strategies, is preferred.
- Prior experience working in multidisciplinary teams and with external agencies is preferred.
- Prior experience using data and trends to draw conclusions about customer behavior is a plus.
- It is necessary to have a bachelor’s degree and at least three years of experience in consumer marketing, brand management, or product management; alternatively, you can substitute a master’s degree in business, marketing, an MBA, or a related discipline.
