As a Front Office Assistant, your duties will include greeting patients, activating patient files, and assisting medical experts. If you’re a team player with excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to handle several tasks, we’d love to have you on board. In order to do this job, you’ll need to work in a clinical setting. Infectious disorders and blood-borne infections are possible due to the moderate noise level. Long durations of standing or sitting are required, as well as the ability to lift 50 pounds. Depending on the location, the number of patients, and the needs of the firm, the working hours may vary.

Qualifications:

- Ability to work well in a group and provide a hand when required to other members of the group as a team member.
- Within the limits of knowledge and abilities, do any extra or miscellaneous responsibilities as directed by the management team.
- Employees in an office setting may be required to do additional duties. Things like copying and distributing messages, putting together spreadsheets, or entering data.
- Has a regular and on-time schedule in accordance with the company’s policy as well as federal, state and local legislation, ensuring compliance with both.
- Sending faxes and other types of documents to the appropriate people in the company.
- Conduct an examination and confirmation of the front-desk staff’s skills. Identify and escalate performance problems, working with the Supervisor and/or Practice Manager to address them.
- To be a Front Office Assistant, you must be able to handle many tasks at once.
- This job is to screen and direct visitors through the institution’s front office using Covid-19 technology.
- To produce a final report for the customer, data from analysts is entered into a computer system and analyzed. It is up to department managers and the office manager to decide which reports are produced and in what sequence.
Skills:
- Microsoft Office, POS, electronic medical record (EMR), or practice management and invoicing systems are all examples of systems that need six months or more of experience administering.
- Additionally, the ability to demonstrate proficient use of a practice management computer system at a pace of about 30 words per minute is necessary.
